I hope this isn’t true but I just heard that they are limiting the number of hours an employee can work based on their pay. So for example, if you get paid $20/hr you can’t work more than 35 hours a week and if you get paid $15/hr you can’t work more than 40 hours a week.
This makes absolutely no sense to me because what would the point of getting a raise be?
Has anyone else heard this?
I Refuse to confirm or deny this claim but i am an smit making 22$ an hour and for the past 3 weeks i have logged no less than 60 hours a week

Full time employees are already limited to 40 hours a week. And as far as I know it's always been that way. And if you go over 40 then it's overtime, but the DL crabs at you if you go over 40, so they STRESS do not go over your hours! (cvs does not like to pay overtime) The only person I know who is allowed to go over 40, is the Store Manager, who has to do 45 hours a week. So I'm not sure if this helps or not. Perhaps someone who might know a little more can chime in here? I guess if this is true, it'll hurt long time people.
