Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

Any info on potential layoffs?

Don’t get me wrong, I’m aware that the discussion of this board goes beyond the standard layoff rumors talk, but It's just that I see a lot of people posting here and not a lot of reports of actual layoffs. Is it possible that none are happening or event that none are rumored?

With GD at the helm, fate of intel modem will be the same as what happened to Q arm server. Lot of pink slips soon.

There are no further layoffs. That time is gone. Yes, there is still attrition, but it has slowed down I think. The people posting about new layoffs @ QCOM are probably Intel recruiting trolls, trying to cause uncertainty in a desperate attempt to attract QCOM engineers. The joke is on them, because GD just joined them and will probably start cutting jobs right away haha. And with no Apple business for Intel going forward, their engineers will soon be knocking on QCOM's door.

It’s well known that people are leaving at a record pace.

The problem is that only the people employable outside of QCOMA are leaving. This leaves behind a mess.

How to stem the bleeding of good people is the question.

People are leaving. No need for layoffs.
