Thread regarding Staples Inc. layoffs

Is there a way to block the bulge on Linkedin

Is there a way to block the Staples bilge that oozes for the pores of those indoctrinated in FL? I love my connection with the poor souls still there but everyday I have to see some syrupy oozing bilge about how great they are. I want to keep my connections but block their connections posts. Its like the worse team in the NFL chanting we’re number one, we’re number one!!!! At the super bowl they had no chance to even compete in.

Actual a@@hat, I received exceed expectations every year since 2008. Received the max APA every year since 2013!

My lay off on Feb 2? Yeah, my 2018 evaluation was Exceed Expectations and I received the max APA last month.

So yeah, I’m angry especially since the individual who now has my position has less experience, less knowledge, less seniority, less competency!

So I don’t want to hear your bs about golf outings or nonperformance cr@p. You are too f fing blind to see this was a rape and pillage Staples of cash and the quick way to increase net without making true changes is eliminate wages and benefits paid.

What an a@@hat!

Grow up bitter angry jerks. You are likely the ones laid off because you were in your job far too long and when you were finally held accountable you realized your Friday golf outings were over and your long lunch dates were a thing of the past. Carry on with the big “L” across your forehead.

New logo, new branding, but same old Staples. Terrible product selection, terrible service, even worse management, and a "drink the kool-aid" mentality. Everyone is so frightened that if they don't toe the line and get their pom-poms out they'll be the next heads chopped in the next round of layoffs. Yup, nothing's changed. "Staples: Where careers go to die."

I agree. You can suppress the posts, but the posts are all over LinkedIn. All these overwrought posts, everyone afraid not to be pumped up for the new brand name, and the fact that 4000 people got together to tell each other how great Staples is. Talk about an echo chamber. The question is where the company will be in 12 months.

OMG. It’s oh-so-annoying! A new logo and a few new brands and it’s like they think they’re on the cusp of invincibility. Dude, you sell office supplies. And also—Amazon. Just saying.

I wish there was also. What I have been doing in “unfollowing” any person that posts that sh--. Keeps me connected to them— but I will never see any of that dribble again in my feed. I just wish there was a way to block by keyword. LinkedIn is useless now anyway. It has become worse than Facebook.
