I've had the pleasure of working with many many "educated fool's " lots of people get a position because of the paper they hold all book smarts but thats about it. I have a passion for automotive and technology I know how things work with engines , Something is clearly wrong
transmissions and some electification , all hands on experience and working with knowledgeable engineering folks over the years , I loved the hardware and my job everyday , doing detailed analysis of the parts , do you know how a cam phaser works , or a sliding cam shaft ? Or what a tumble control is for inside an intake manifold? GM never hired me , last summer I was close to a hired direct position ,but my Sr Manager refused to release me out of my position , now I'm f---ing unemployed. Yeah ! Classist society we live in , I saw to many people get hired because they had the paper from some collage but couldn't beat their way out of a paper bag, and I was the one that had to explain how these engine parts work ! Something is clearly wrong.
I ended up pretty uh in the same position as @Yl4Ski9-6lht . Glad somebody brought this up.
