SAMSO was spun off to JHAH. When they were, the Aramco employees were given new contracts to sign or else go. Those contracts were for much less salary and fewer benefits than the existing employees were making, forcing them to return back to their home countries. They were either not replaced or were replaced with less experienced (cheaper) staff and those of us who were forced to use JHAH saw a steep fall in the quality, availability, and timeliness of the medical care. One of the reasons we packed and left. Medical care is part of the deal. If you can’t meet or exceed quality at home you’re offering an inferior quality of life.
Is there an intention to implement any form of spinning off any area of Aramco Aviation to any third party entity which would then cause the employees to without warning have their salaries and benefits slashed?
Because if there is, the employees would like to know now and plan to return home because at least in the case of JHAH the new contracts were lower than the salaries in their home countries and there was no point, purpose, or benefit in working in what is otherwise a backwards third world dump at a lower salary (although we do understand why you have to trap “happy” people with your “final exit visa” and “wife/daughter/maid/driver border app” because they might accidentally escape, even though they are treated so well).
People who left their countries and uprooted their families in good faith deserve to know if this is intended in other areas of the business because when it is done the way SAMSO did it this stains Aramco’s reputation as an honest and upfront and competitive employer.
From here? We already know how slimy the Aramco management is and we already know Aramco does not give two ——s about their expat employees, but hey there are a few who still believe that you people can change. So answer the fckn question or not, but don’t pretend that you can’t “help” because you don’t understand what’s being talked about here.
