Are faculty and staff at AiLV seriously working for free? Or rather the promise that you’ll receive your back pay?
Who are these new owners? And what makes you think they have the cash on hand to pay given that your students no longer qualify for DOE loans?
Not being a smart a--, just trying to figure it out. You know this history of EDMC, DCEH, and every other forprofit school that has closed; what makes you think this will end well? Isn’t the writing on the wall?

Well, it sounds like these jokers have no intention of paying you. I was not there, but everything I’ve read about it sounds like this deal was made in haste and the buyer simple does not have the cash to pay you.
I agree with some of the others. Walk out together and force the owner’s hand. He can’t re-hire quickly enough not to hurt the class schedule. Students will demand their teachers return and he’ll have to pay you.
It is rediculous that you all are being asked to work with out pay, no matter for how long. It’s one thing if you shove to do so because of your altruistic spirit, but don’t expect to get paid if this has lasted this long.
AiLV is headed out of business very soon. Please, get yourselves new jobs. Don’t wait around for a promise land that isn’t coming!

If there is no pay then you can believe they are underfunded to take over a business or have no plans to pay anyone anyway.
