What did everyone think of this article? Does the Big Brain have it all figured out?

When I am down, disappointed by corporate life, and ready to give up on my expectations for being led by inspirational servant leaders – which I think I should not and will never do in the end – I try to find and watch some videos with Alan Mulally talking about work, life, people. It always helps, puts a big smile on my face, and brings me right back from the brink, hope renewed. He loved all, and I loved him, as a true leader he was.

Easy way to add to bottom line is to cut people or go to low cost countries... 95% of furniture in USA is made in China or elsewhere

I was a grunt, and I loved Mulally. He led with humility, love and respect for all. He put a plastic card in my pocket, and One Ford in my heart. I lived and breathed it. I miss him.

Puff piece signaling layoffs restarting. Our LL6 told us today that next round of cuts starts Monday.

Whatever Hackett does before getting canned will be undone as soon as he is gone as the Ford LL5+ will immediately restart their old behaviors and traditions. After all that is what they know and what they mastered to get promoted.

Buckle up here we go again.

Mulally had true humility and a true learning spirit.

He showed up in my cube one day as he had read a document I had written on a Share point site and wanted to learn more. It blew me away.

I was not the only person who had a similar experience with Mulally.

Big Jim transmits he is not particularly good at receiving.

Mulally early on worked in a dealership to help learn the business. He had had a plan and was able to accurately articulate that plan so everyone was able to know what was going on and being planned. He gave hope after seeing the leadership hurt the company. Believed in the workers.

This guy just keeps hurting the companies future.

piece paid for by Ford family?

His quote "If we're successful, you'll have to do this again." Is telling.
