Thread regarding CVS layoffs

What if the front end is reduced by 35-50%?

Sure, it may never be gone for good. Why stick around and find out? What if the front end is reduced by 35-50%? How much payroll, and how much would they want to pay managers? 10 years from now the job will be different, borderline unrecognizable. Keep thinking it’s a strong career choice. People get sick, and every place sells medicine. OTC isn’t a good example of why retail will be a significant portion of the company. Cvs won’t want to sell toys, sundries, seasonal, all the terribly expensive health food that no one buys. If you aren’t ready to retire look for something else. At least see what’s out there. I just left last month and couldn’t be happier. Working Monday - Friday and leaving after 8 hours is the greatest thing.
