Great sales conference.

Unfortunately there are still way too many Sales Managers, Directors and VP's in this company.

All taking large salaries and bonuses while the sales people are actually earning the money.

All they do is high five each other over the sales that we produce. They could easily get rid of half of these people

All the good sales people, directors are gone because they made too much money. Look at the company and see that the directors are all next generation who I am sure will be talented associates as they learn. However they can never replace the lost sales that weee lost when you let the experienced people were laid off due to cost cutting. Don’t believe me look at P12, P1 and P2 sales. We will continue to lose due to this id--tic go to market.

The amount of money they spent on the re- branding is absurd. These funds could have simply been spent on raises and a normal comp plan for sales. That would have increased sales without the big show.

Follow-up question, why is Coastwide Professional a better name than Brighton Professional? Is Coastwide remembered that fondly, or are they just changing it for the sake of changing it?

They will oh they will and few more sales producers because SP believes in mediocrity and not excellence. Well excellence costs money and that means less money for them. Sales will eventually be automated out with the Staples Brands.

BTW, the Furniture line UNION AND SCALE? Who came up with that brilliant brand name?
