How much can we get for selling Lummus and I don’t see any integrated projects from their technologies. Isn’t this why DD bought CBI. We already had a playbook of loosing jobs. Still don’t get how Lummus helps. Seems like the tank guys are liked in the market.

Interesting to look back on this 4 years later. Lummus is doing fine (Lummus not project people, they are design people). McD - sort of stunning that they still exist. But at least they got rid of the “clown show” executives that were there 4 years ago. It turns out most of them now work at Lake Resources!

I would recommend to take the work to someone who knows what the are doing. Not a bunch of paper pushers that do not have a clue on how to execute a project. History speaks for itself.
Ok I’ll bite. How is HOUSTON ruining the Lummus name and where should they take the work?
The problem is Lummus is focused on money and not doing the right thing. Their group in Houston is destroying their name. They do not have a clue what they are doing. Just shuffling paper, high paid paper pushers.
Be a leader, not a follower. The money will come if you do the right thing.
This is how it works. Lummus is in with the wrong kind of business. Usually a technology company will have a high revenue per employee. Versus the business I’m in which has a negative $/head.
Don’t know how lummus woukd do on there own but they aren’t leaders in the industry either. If your licensing in China is done to build a reference list and a lot of lummus headlines are all in China. Don’t think MDR got any value from these licenses before or pull through.
I’d like to see it get sold off to answer many of these arguments bit not convinced DD would have a clue how to use the money.
So yeah they make money but don’t get lost in the coolaide. They don’t make any other mdr business stronger. To the point below, mdr, really cbi has missed the gas buildout. Lummus website shows a ton of me too technologies but it looks like only 1 or 2 are relavent - ethylene and alky. Hope I’m wrong.
Why does Lummus keep having to defend itself. I will tell you why, they are a loser! Incompetent group of people!
I love working here. Where else can you be an engineer, make good money and not know what you are doing. Love it! Love America!!
No one pays for new technology. Needs to be tested. Lummus technology is tried and true. And SELLS. Lummus makes decent coin.

PM said it was worth at least 2.2b, maybe more before DD stepped in to save the day. So if things get really desperate, Lummus will be sold and DD would likely be tossed. Give it until the end of the year, we may get there!
