This is a quick answer. Very low/bottom for many if not all positions. Benefits poor. Many former employees have left either under their own accord or walked out found new jobs paying substantially more money and better benefits. ( 45K yr more in my situation.) The leadership at all levels is still the same basically. The compensation for being incompetent at your job and skills is above the industry high. If you are new and are hired as a "leader" manager you will be run out in a few short years. The leadership focus more on protecting themselves then for the collectively good of the products.

That all depends on how you look at it. They're competitive in that pay falls within a given range for a position versus the market. It's inside the range, but very much on the low end of that market range. Historically speaking, Allscripts people from the Eclipsys, Misys, A4, and other older "merger/acquisition" groups were generally being paid on the low end of market range. Allscripts people from McKesson EIS, dbMotion, Jardogs and other "merger/acquisition" groups were generally being paid at a much higher rate (at least relative to the other groups) and caused a lot of headaches and rolling eyes in HR and Finance when they got brought on at the same rates. That brought the average pay range up a little overall, but don't expect legacy pay as a new employee. I'd say it all averages out to be lower third of the industry overall range depending on position and location.
Remember to factor in other things besides raw pay. There's benefits, which seem to be getting worse in terms of how much you pay versus what you get back but that's probably a problem for everyone considering the state of healthcare in this country so I'd say they're okay in this regard although you'd think a company in healthcare would have something stellar to offer. It's been over a decade since I've even heard of any kind of profit-sharing or 401(k) matching funds being mentioned even as a whisper. From what I've heard the comp plans for people in any kind of sales group are "okay" but conditions/goals required for full payout are written so as to be nearly impossible to reach target. Some of the office spaces are very nice (and new) if a bit empty-seeming at times. There's a lot of really good people working for Allscripts and the environment overall is pretty good considering the chaos of the past few years.
