Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

  1. Did you know that if you are rehired you aren't eligible to receive severance again at least in the US?This means there is no risk to rehiring you, it will cost the company nothing to let you go, again

  2. Did you know that in most cases it is illegal or at least dicey to post the same roles for which people have have been laid off from?

What is the justification, if my role is eliminated why are you hiring for the exact same job,

Can you say attorney!

  1. Women-Have you noticed that people that are getting rehired are all men?

Think about it, Can you say attorney?

Stop signing those dang severance agreements. Start a class action and make them really pay. It is the only way the board will listen.

I fully agree with taketothecourt. And It’s exactly what I have done.

They fire me and posted 5 open positions for data engineers .
