March is nearly over, does that mean the latest round of layoffs at Frontier will come to an end? It's making me really nervous hearing about more layoffs in different locations and departments every day or two. It would be nice to know it is over - at least for now.

I am in the Allen office and live in fear of losing my job everyday. The problem is that with my pay, working from home, getting paid for having to have certain speed and inet, I can’t just find a job that will be in the same overall pay range.
They never said how many jobs they wanted Flex techs to do, but I am thinking the same as an IR tech...just work where you are needed.
How many IR jobs do they want flex techs to do?
Company is trying to create jobs that arent in the contract...Flex tech...COT that does C.O and IR...no pay increase.
Same here in California. Buried Service Wire, Cable Splicer, Lineman, COEI and yard Clerks all offered EISP. I believe all EISP where taken except for Buried Service Wire Techs. More then half are staying because of piling debt. Looks like California not getting anymore CAF money therefore the justified reduction in Splicer, Lineman and COEI.

I bet it's old Verizon locations. Because the legacy FTR markets in West at least, haven't had many COTs for sometime.

No, I dont think they are done yet..told there was a surplus in C.O techs 8 that cover 5 counties (non 4 wall C.O techs that do construction, service tech, RT, circuits C.O field). Left 1 C.O tech to run 4 counties...closest techs 2 hrs away.
Florida just got offered a EISP in the Buried Drop Department my last day is 3/29/19. Very Happy I got something anyway. Been with Verizon 10 years and Frontier going on 4 years. They said they had a surplus of 11 and we only had 15 in the Department. I think Bain Capital is running the company and just preparing it for Bankruptcy. F.Y.I....make sure you have a backup plan on another job. Not Secure here and ask Dan McCarthy how come he didnt take a pay cut if he believes Frontier will make a turn around.
