Looks like a lot of people have figured out there is no future (at least nothing long term) at Teradata. More and more people are walking out and never looking back. Sadly, most of them are our best people, which is only dooming this company further.
I'm starting to think it's time to start looking for new employment myself as well...

I walked away in 2014 because it was painful watching a once great company begin to crumble. Five years later and there are only a handful of people that I worked with that still remain.
So very sad, but I’ll always have good memories from my many years at NCR/TD then just TD post spin off.
When Oliver weaseled his way to CEO, someone said “the ego has landed.” Perfect.
The future of TD is to be acquired or die.

Wasn't Vantage a brand of c-gare--es from the '70's? Nice choice for a product name, great research you dim wits. Now you too can have a Data Center with a malignant growth festering in it as well, its called Teradata.
As far as this asshat Oliver R. you now have a CEO whose only business credentials is a 7 week course for mid level executives. Way to pick 'em Slick.

Leave now.. the company is going down the tube.. there are no takers for Teradata. False promises by the leadership team. The worst CEO in VL and current CEO is no better. For a technology company this one has the maximum number of non-technical folks who are on the top. I say to all of you run now before it is too late.
As a person who got laid off recently I would strongly advise NOT to resign.
Sure start looking for new opportunities but please make Teradata pay you a severance!
