Does anyone know anything about the Knoxville store?
On the east side of the KC, MO metro stores are about 6-8 miles apart. All do over $100 mil a year.
I do not see store 949 Duncanville Texas on the list.
Closing stores that’s should have never been opened. “There is another Neighborhood Market and two Supercenters in Morristown, all within about three miles of the Andrew Johnson Highway location, according to Walmart’s Store Finder.”
Yep, here’s another one announced to close: Walmart Neighborhood Market, 1757 W. Andrew Johnson Highway, Morristown, Tennessee.
Gonna be plenty more to come, too. You can't build three stores within eight miles of each other ( as WM was doing, full speed ahead and damn the torpedos, for quite a while) and sustain that kind of operating cost : benefit ratio
