Thread regarding State Street Corp. layoffs

State street to settle lawsuit with SEC regarding overcharging clients.... HUGE layoffs to come...

https://www.bizjournals.com/boston/news/2019/02/21/state-street-in-settlement-talks-with-sec-over.html

HUGE cuts are coming in addition to the already scheduled layoffs for the end on 2019, so they are able to pay the lawsuit settlement. $267 billion fine. That’s gonna be a lot of layoffs.

S---s to be at State Street, lol.

This is how it usually works the person says they will sue for say $1 million, but will settle out of court for only hmm $250,000 or $500,000

@YiGcuoT-zon I have not read anything about ex employees suing State Street. Although, I do believe that some would but can't imagine how they think they would win a lawsuit against such a large corporation.

Don’t worry, it is nothing that offshoring more work won’t fix

Billing is still a complete sh---show... it's been offshored which comes with the usual accuracy issues, but worst of all MDs in sales are negotiating extremely complex fee schedules that take a sh-- ton of time to generate and review.

@YiGcuoT

Please get you facts straight. $267 BILLiON fine? Um.....State Street revenue in 2018 wasn’t even $12 Billion. The discussed settlement is for $380 MILLION in overcharges over 20 years. Maybe you worked in the billing department because you are only off by 70,000%! id--t!
