All of this started in 2017 when William Ackman from Pershing Square attempted a hostile takeover. ADP is paying 50% of what they paid employees 5 years ago, and are not only destroying the culture of the company and its standing with clients, but also with its vendors and contract providers. For years hundreds of people made a living doing contract work to augment full time employees with business demand required it. ADP has severed its contracts with dozens of firms, and the firms left are being forced to take significant reductions in compensation. This greed and mismanagement is affecting scores of recruiters and decades long loyal contract workers - some of whom were being asked to come back at 50% their prior rates. This started with the RIF and Retirement buyouts in 2018 and the 2019 actions are not only embarrassing but continue to pave the path for the end of ADP as the world leader in Payroll services. American Greed at its finest.
Couldn't have said it better myself. Great post @XjSfQ0K-Yfde .
