Thread regarding SAP layoffs

What locations do they want to cut to the ground?

I imagine that in light of the layoffs some locations will be closed( talking about the US). Is there any rumor or any word on what locations are they planning to close? Are they required to give some notice about their intention for closure, if a closure is done via gradual layoffs undtil none of the workers is left?

They are not closing South San Francisco.

This is one of the 3 locations in the SF Bay area that would remain open.

The other 2 are Palo Alto and San Ramon.

There was an town hall meeting in South San Francisco a few weeks ago to announce the closing of that office later this year. I think if they are planning on closing an office, they will give plenty of notice, if South San Francisco is any indication.
