Speaking of translate, what did that poster just say? Complete jibberish like most posts on this board.
The GT26 was ripe for the upgrade market. Alstom never had $$ or resources to pull it off. Bout time GE started to take advantage of the small installed base of Alstom GT market. Do not confuse my statement about small to mean it translates to steam turbine installed base. For years Alstom our sold GE for the steam part of Combined cycle plant. This mostly pulled off because of their marketing department willing keep lower new unit cost. But much of scope to install the steam turbine was in the EPC scope of supply. Fact check that folks , GE steam turbine sales and marketing where id--ts to no expose this to new clients.
