Canadians got shafted out of benefits/severance that the US workers will soon see happen to them. Gone, gone, and gone. Sorry this happened to you guys too. US workers take notice! History repeats itself frequently with Eddie. What a tool.
He probably would have bought Sears Canada too but there were too many differences for it to work if you had been to both US and Canadian stores, even if it was only for temporary purposes and he’d have closed it eventually. Had it been more similar to the US operations and more integrated he’d likely have bought it for the same reasons he bought the US ones.
Sears Canada comes to mind. Probably a pattern going on here that is similar
