Has anyone heard any new info on this position?? When do current PC/TC have to be out of role?

It does not make sense to me that they would give notice to anyone before they have made all of the selections. Can you imagine the chaos?
I am hoping the position opens before they give the 60 day notice. But probably not. They start week 17/18??? So, we would need to be out beforehand??? Therefore, any day now we should get notice. If they do not offer the position, you would still be eligible for severance. Only if they offer and you turn it down do you loose severance.
I think you apply for the position, you lose your severance just remember.
Why do u think that u are not qualified for the PL. Was u ever a supervisor? How long have you been a TC? walmart is reachable to anyone. If I was to guess I am thinking that most college degree HR applicants will win over any PC, ASM, TC or DM if u don't try you will never know. Be careful not trying because then u may not be eligible for severance. Def. Email the email on the AMP and ask all questions now before it's too late to ask. Best wishes to u.
I am a TC and am not qualified for the PL position. I really need the severance and I don’t know if should go for the position even though I don’t stand a chance.

My MHRM told me that all needed info about the job, pay grade, etc, will be announced in Q2 and the new role will be in effect in Q3. We go to a regional HR meeting the 3rd week in April, the end of Q1...maybe we will learn more then.
They would not ask a PC that wasent chosen to train a people lead. I'm sure whoever is chosen will be trained by an academy or someone that already knows the ropes.
If I remember correctly I read it on the AMP, that the requisition would open in May Q2 and be filled in May.....and we PC’s will train them or those that will not be chosen. By August Q3 we PC’s will be gone
According to amp week 11, people lead is coming Q2. All training should be complete by May if interested.
