I was laid off from CFA as well. I'm so glad to be out of that company. It was a waiting game and I stayed till the end. Now, to move on to a new journey.
OK. The schools were basically defunct and the 100 or so low level clandestine last ditch effort employees were kept in the dark as usual and sequestered from reality, busily typing away, helping these scoundrels to s--- up every last penny of student ill gotten gains loans money while they were simultaneously engaged in stealing the student's stipend money.
And some folks had THE NERVE to call this a boiler room scam!!!

I was one of those 100 employees and I assure you, we are the bottom in pay and acknowledgment, even when the company was thriving, most were not aware of our existence and we were lucky to make $33k a year. We were simply trying to process student loans with zero guidance or information on which campuses closed, how to handle them, etc. I'm pretty sure the shady sh-- happen with people at a higher pay grade and title.
You know I hate to have this hateful thought but after all that's happened lately I can't help my thoughts from from defaulting to thinking about those 100 employees working from home busily typing away attempting desperately to encrypt and negate the paper trail regarding the stipend money that got shunted to Brent's Arizona Xanadu.
After the 1/22 layoffs there were about 100 people left. Various positions including HR, some SASS team, and enrollment/financial aid counselors for all schools, 2 weeks later they sent is all home with laptops to continue work from home.
I didn’t think anyone was left in Chandler? The bulk of us were all laid off on 1/22. Who was even left in Park Place? From what school?

it’s doubtful we get paid. The laptop is worth less than two weeks of work.
They arent getting my badge, or laptop until I get paid.
