Thread regarding SAP layoffs

This process should have been much more transparent

Good management wouldn't let us guess for weeks about what's going on - they'd be honest and communicate what their plans are - for better or worse - instead of leaving us in the dark.

It's sad that we have to guess and search for clues outside of the company - I honestly thought SAP was better than that.

You are so right!

This will impact partner investment plans as well as customer purchasing decisions.

The 2-year layoff cycle will be an annual fitness test going forward. Wait until more customer ditch maintenance on ECC because S/4 does not have a business case and SAP is no longer developing EhPs.

Maybe by then Bill’s contract won’t be renewed in 2020.
