SAP has been moving to Cloud for ages already look at Success Factors, Ariba, Concur, Fieldglass...

Let’s just admit Development and Services were the sacrificial lamb when SALES team failed to deliver on the numbers !

I'm shocked that SAP seem to be giving up on HANA. Sure it's late to the party, it's ridiculously expensive to run, and even more expensive to license, but they could have fixed that.

Cloud is mostly a passing fad and after the initial rush to put everything into the cloud, there will be contraction. Seems the legacy SAP should be getting rid of is at the top.
