Do we know for sure majority of layoffs will be at Fox or should we be worried as well? I'm assuming at least some Disney employees will be affected, but I believe the majority will be from Fox. I could be wrong about it, though.

Yes, Disney has focused staffing on contingent workers (contract and project hires). They will go first.
But some Disney execs have been given their walking papers. It appears the merger is a solid excuse to shed some dead weight.

You'd think. Or you can pull a Carl Icahn situation where you keep all the contract workers, rebadge all the permanent employees to an Indian outsourcing firm, and save yourself a fortune in benefits with medical, retirement, while having all of them train their replacements.
Disney has a lot of contract workers which will probably be the first to go.
