Really ? Ask yourself that question now. Is this so called NJRC still safe ?
Unfortunately NJRC became a fringe office. Its just another job shop and most people are unhappy. Despite the drastic size reductions undertaken over the years there are still some good people left there, but they stay just because of the lack of opportunities that match their skillset in the region. Otherwise, the place is half dead. Yes QC makes noise about the renewed so called strategic Small Cell for 5G. But just about 10 people are working on it in The US. Rest are in India. There is no HR presence, no Senior VP, almost no QREF, no soul, no vibe, no energy.
Qualcomm HR knows nothing more than BS. Too cover their own A-- they can even post something like this.
Wow, hr writing her own view to dissuade people. Does NJRC has Product management roles? We are not bothered about safety because we know our capacity and what hr thinks is irrelevant here.
Yes. People are absolutely happy here. San Diego lost lots of talents. So the job in NJRC is safe.
