Why is Qualcomm so willing to let go of our top talent without even putting up a fight?
I'm not even talking about layoffs (even if that certainly is a part of it) but people who are leaving to join our competitors and are finding no resistance here. Nobody is trying to keep them here through pay or other incentives. They just send them on their merry way.
Is nobody thinking about our future?
Who a company wants to prevent leaving is mostly driven by politics, not accomplishments.
Exec's got there RSU's. They are hiring in India to replace US workers that leave. More RSU for exec's!!

You mean whoever stayed back in Q?? You can enjoy lot of political dramas here and you don't get such entertainment anywhere in the corporate world. stock is doing good, let me enjoy some more time before thinking about changing job.
Most of engineering talent who created startup culture in Q are already left, who ever left are most incompetent selffish people with no option.
Promotion to level of incompetence runs rampant at QCOM. Now that the stock has topped out, why stay?
