Stating the obvious here.... don’t make any major purchases until things sort out... highly recommend you actively search for new home... get out now... sgas will not show any respect at the the end.... a former colleague of mine found out he was RIF’d when he couldn’t log on via vpn.... when he called the India based help desk to fix the problem, they informed him the problem was he was no longer an employee....

Before the recent activity would say 2022. But now i would say the better answer would be do not let wait until the company let you go.

Actively look for other opportunities and save up because the road will be rocky. No doubt there. Too bad when i joined the company it was after the "good times". Did not experience the fortune 500 mindset. What was experience is an tsunami of cuts.

When new owners recoup lost ~$900m with margin.... as posted before new value of sgas is ~$340m ( according to chapter 11 filing....). My take is they will accelerate cost cutting to get where whole sooner vs. later.... no idea as to timetable.... maybe OPG has some insight.....
