I went to Walmart academy about 3 years ago. The instructor told us that Walmart was in trouble. We were told that the changes were coming. We weren't told specifically what the changes would be.
I can't believe that this was the plan. The stores that have made the cuts have overwhelmed associates. Shelves are empty, and the stores look like c-ap.
This is going to run the business into the ground.
Sad to say but I agree. Then again within 5 years there will be a budding challenger to Amazon just like WW was to KMart
