Our Fry's lost three people last week - one of them a manager. This has never happened before - we always have people coming and going, but never at the same time like this.
Do you think they might know something is coming and are getting out in time? Should I be worried?
The Roseville, CA Fry's is fairly well stocked in general, but they are not getting much new product in from certain vendors. They've been sold out of things I've been in the market for, which I just ended up purchasing on Amazon (most of it Same-Day or One-Day delivery).
Not very many people in there at any given time. Quiet as hell.
I would leave. Frys has eliminated all manager positions throughout the whole company. Most managers going from between 42k-52k to 7.25 an hour + commission + a small advocacy commission usually under $50 bucks. In most cases that means a 50% reduction in wage. With neglecting buying inventory over the last 9 months a big chunck of frys customers base has moved on to other retailers esp amazon. This google express being discontinued and a poor online presence looks like trouble. Not to mention frys electronic stores have a huge foot print with not enough product to fill it. Wasted space is wasted $$$$.

For sure. All the frys locations just made all of the cashiers and sales associates hour 8 or less a week. They’ve drastically cut hours. I give them at best 2 years.
