Thread regarding Sears layoffs

What stores could be closing next?

I realise that at this point any store is in danger, but there has got to be some stores that are in more danger than others. What stores could be most likely to close in the ne wave? Any Idea?

My guess is Novi, Michigan. I don't know how many stores were in that town, but one of them seems to have appeared on every closing list for the past couple years.

Any store whose lease is up will be closed. We've already seen it happen over the last few weeks.

Stores whose property value, whether leases or real estate, can be sold to others at a high return. Unprofitable stores with highly negative EBITDA. Stores that aren't receiving inventory. Go forward stores should be pretty fully stocked by now, or are well on the way.
