Guys the Nestle DSD system has in place has never been cost effective and never will. I came from Kraft and we had zero warehouse workers , zero safety managers ,zero finance people, zero inventory specialist , zero capabilities managers ,zero warehouse managers, zero shuttle drivers, zero delivery drivers, zero merchandisers , zero equipment managers , Zero routing specialist, zero project managers , zero scan base inventory managers , and the list goes on and on . Nestle has no clue how to run a DSD operation or never will picking hundreds of thousands of orders every week . The sales reps barely have time to service their stores yet they are expected to sell in and build displays ha ha . The train has left the station and it all over Tuesday more than likely

Well said ...I would agree Nestle screwed then both up and that’s why we will be without jobs in 3-6 months. My gut feeling is that ice cream has been sold and pizza is going warehouse. Best of luck to you!!

Kraft wasn’t the only company that knew how to run a business, Dreyer’s and Edy’s ran the exact same company before Nestle bought Kraft. My husband worked for Kraft for 22 years and the reason they sold it off was it didn’t fit the distribution model. Nestle NEVER knew how to do DSD. Both companies were fine and ran as a family until Nestle stuck their nose in a business they didn’t know anything about. I am legacy Edy’s and I’ll be damn if we as ice-cream folks will take the hit for Kraft! Nestle came to us Dreyer’s and Edy’s 20 years ago and said, “we don’t know how to do Dsd, can we put our drumsticks on your trucks? So let the record show, it was not a Dreyer’s/Edy’s problem nor a Kraft problem, it was Nestle...they screwed up both businesses an now look where we both sit! Probably in the unemployment line!

Yep , I made $75,000 a year with Kraft worked M-F no weekends . Kraft ran their cost to sales between 13%-17% and Nestle is running 23%-28% who was profitable KRAFT was for 35 years . Good luck to everyone!!!
i also came from kraft where they could bonus us 10000 a year and still have pizza be profitable i do 50000 to 60000 off my truck in five days under 45 hours with minimun merch and thats still not cutting it and your paying me 1% and expect us to get displays and when we do have bonuses or contests we never know about them and its includes everyone but jesus so you never have a chance to win and when u do hit the goal its a random drawing. been here 23 years was hoping for 2 more i think we willl still jobs but will be only 6 months or so
