Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

Overworking the employees and making them leave on their own

I imagine that is a strategy, but I was wondering are other locations are experiencing the same thing? My store hasn’t had an organized wave of layoffs in years. On the other hand the turnover is big.People leaving left and right and new ones are being hired.

A few years ago I was told that I was going to TLE. Then, the manager over TLE told me he’d rather hire two part-timers so he could get more work.

they do it on purpose to thin out the herd of LONG TERM employees. Want to overwork us so we leave. A manager told me to my face they would rather have 2 full time people vs. those of us who are long term. They can pay 2 --40 hour people LESS MONEY and get twice as much work out of them than a LONG TERM person who gets paid more.
