Thread regarding Nestle layoffs

Our dsl pretty much sounded like he was crying on our conference call. Not trying to sound bitter but after 15 years or working here with him as my boss it's the first time he sounded concerned. He isn't answering anyone's calls or text.

Just got approached by a store manager and boy was he upset. He asked if it's true where going warehouse cause he doesn't have the man power to stock our stuff. I asked where he heard that he said from a corporate email. I won't say which chain it is but it's a very popular chain of stores. Worst part he was shocked he knew more about it then I did.

If it were warehouse, way too many people would be in the know. Leaks would be out fairly fast. The only thing that could be kept this quite is a buyout.

Tuesday looks like ax day for the entire frozen division

I’ve worked in the Chicago around for much more than eight years. Because a random worker at a store said that means nothing. If nestle was going warehouse you think word of it would reach a low level store worker and not to us?

See the investor meeting schedule someone posted earlier. There is nothing about pizza/IC on the itinerary.

All signs are that we are being sold. If I am wrong I’ll come back and admit it.

I’m also curious what store? A smaller chain I could see being warehouse.
