Do they still have the huge contract with TCS, the Indian company that replaced much of in-house Sears IT some years back ?
How is the mainframe elimination project coming along ?

I think mainframes are still there. They are in process of eliminating teradata or something before they turned off the last remnant of mainframes.
Everytime Sears tries to combine mainframe systems it just ends up adding another dozen vendors that will be supported in perpetuity, even years after the software vendors themselves stop supporting them. Just look at the c-aptasticness of webMethods and Ariba.
They need to combine their mainframe systems.
Metascale didn't scale
You ask:
How is the mainframe elimination project coming along ?
Yeah, they eliminated the program in 2014, I think.
