HR Leader came out informing how people should vote. Are they that controlling? My 2 cents, definitely vote to split Chairman and CEO roles.

Yeah, pretty tacky email. Not sure I agree on splitting CEO and Chairman. The Immelt experience proved BOD can't be complacent -- won't soon be forgotten. BOD is stronger now, and Flannery ouster proved they can overpower CEO.
But I WILL vote against KPMG! What's the argument for keeping them?
Out of habit, I have always voted against all Board of Directors, CEO and Chairman roles as there needs to be ongoing change in the leadership ranks.
They should never feel comfortable and it is good if they fear getting thrown out of their overpaid cushy jobs.
Fund the pension, eliminate executive wastes, and focus on the long term profitability of the company which will continue to employ the hard working employees and provide valuable products to our society.
