Is this true? Is the cap really six months no matter how long you've been with the company? So a person who's been here for 13 years and a person who's been here for 30 get the same amount?
Worked for ADP with outstanding reviews over 30 years and was offered 18 weeks severance while my partner of 9 years accepted 16 weeks.

Learn the employment laws regarding layoff and terminations in your respective area/state. There is not a broad brush ADP can use. Each work location may be handled differently. Can't go by someone else's scenario to be sure. It may not apply to you.
I was there 29 years and got nothing. There is no guarantee you will get a severance. The whole reason for the downsizing and eliminating tenured associates is to cut costs... including severance. As advised, get your resume together and move on.
Keep in mind that companies don't have to give you ANY severance. They can ask you to leave without anything besides any vacation, time worked, and maybe some bonus amount depending on when you leave the company. If you're sticking around for a package, it's the wrong thing to do. Get your resume together and move on. There is life after ADP.
Yes. That quoted post is absolutely true. I posted it because I know first hand that’s the new ‘normal’ for the February lay offs.
The cap is indeed at 6 months, no matter how long you have been with ADP. And this has been in force for quite a while now.
I was laid off from ADP in 2016 and only got 6 months even though I was with this company for 28 years.
I do believe the cap is six months though, has been for quite some time.
The Severance Package is determined by Corp. Depends on what they want to give you. So no someone who has been at ADP for 13 yrs will not get the same as someone who has been here 30 yrs.
