Did any former employee receive this yet?

Oh, and this, "We have taken measures that we believe are designed to remove the cyber criminals' access to our systems".

I don't know how to even begin to interpret that. Does Citrix not have any idea what the intentions are of the measures that are taken, other than some unfounded beliefs that it might help?

Got mine. Basically it says: On March 6th, FBI informed Citrix about a breach. Cyber criminals had access for 5 months, and may have downloaded files containing your personal information and possibly your family members' information. Now, almost 2 months later, and OUT OF AN ABUNDANCE OF OF CAUTION, we are letting you know.

Seriously?

This is sweet justice against the joke of a company with a bunch of circus clowns running this sh-- show. I’m so glad this happened to this vile criminal bunch of ELTs. After being layedoff and walked out of the office after 12 years with the company I am so glad karma has come back to take justice.

What a surprise, company providing security software got breached itself.

Ex-Citrite here, and I got my letter today. I want to say I'm surprised, but the writing was on the wall for an event like this when IT was overrun by H-1Bs with diploma mill degrees/certifications many years ago. But ... muh Superpower by 2020!!1!1

Can someone sue Citrix for failing to protect their private information?

I would suggest Florida residents to apply for IRS IP PIN (CP01A) as well, after that you would receive a separate pin code by mail every year around tax season.

I have not. Sad to see I had to be notified through a news outlet.
