Will Teradata beat the market's expectations?
"This data management company is expected to post quarterly earnings of $0.21 per share in its upcoming report, which represents a year-over-year change of +10.5%.
Revenues are expected to be $487.03 million, down 3.8% from the year-ago quarter."

5 TD customer became also SF customer
0 Vantage in cloud
Are still selling the old 2850 series to the customer but they call it Vantage.... vantage 2850 😅
This Quarter is the start of the end
The anger in ORs voice 8n yesterday's earnings call directed at snowflake... Was hillarious. I mean OR hasn't got his house in order, let brilliant people go and now complaining about competitors.!! The talk about Sony win was a half truth. Snowflake is IN SONY. The board is misguiding investors.. Teradata is going to bankrupt by Q4 2019 if this continues...
Listening to the earnings call, OR and MC are full of c-ap. Teradata Vantage is traditional Teradata - if you aren't getting new logos, calling it Vantage deflects the discussion. OR states he is so proud of the Teradata people, that he let all of the best employees go. So up 2% on a very low bar for EPS (they had a $13M drop in selling and GA expenses or they would have missed here), and a huge revenue miss, and consulting s---ing wind - OR thinks the strategy is winning. Delusional.......

Very low expectations. Even a beat isn't much to celebrate it. All about guidance for the entire fiscal year. Are they losing market share to other cloud providers? Are current customers happy with new pricing, Vantage, etc?
With such low expectations, I think they definitely should. Their long-term prospects still are bad, but I don't can't see such a sudden drop in revenue in just 1 quarter, especially when they did good in Q4.
