SAP has been very arrogant with this unethical business practice for a long time. It is banking on the fact that no one has the b*lls to fight them because they have high priced lawyers lined up. Most individuals that were kicked to the curb because of his/her age just don't have the financial resources and time to fight them so they just had to take it lying down.
The company is such a hyprocite when it comes to diversity, it is getting all kinds of diversity awards and recognitions from different sources. Have they forgotten that age is also included in employee diversity? They have made it very clear that they are only interested in early talents in new or existing opportunities. HR is celebrating in receiving all these diversity awards when they know the ugly truth.
I really hope that the previous poster will open the pandora's box and share the details with us. For those senior employees that's been impacted by the latest cut, I wish you all the best and good luck in getting back on track.
