Still no guarantee this is coming to all stores and no indications as to timeframe, but it’s definitely something the company has put a lot of work into.

This is just walmarts way of cutting wages. If you have been with walmart any length of time you have been thru this before. More responsibilities for what 40 cents more an hour. The Depaerment managers that lose their positions are not going to be vested in caring if things are done right or customers are happy. Walmart hires lots of associates but they do not last. Most are there just for. Paycheck. They also keep upping the starting wage that still doesn't keep people staying around but also with no increase of pay the people who have been there a few years or more. So you are hiring people off the street who are making the same as associates that have been with the company 5 years plus. Seems a slap in the face. They keep changing the rules on earned time off but don't Grandfather cause the associates that earned it under different rules. The schedules they expect you to work are not family or life oriented. Company has slipped a long way since Sam was alive.

It's what is already happening at stores. Rolling out east to west from the looks of it. Good to see the actual breakdown to put a mental picture together. Thank you.

Sooooo where are those people that be all like "Nooo, Walmart wouldn't do THAT - ya'll just spreading rumors"

Read and weep.....

If you are a Salaried Manager - Get out! Even if you get picked to stay, look at how horrible those schedules are. 4am - 2pm or 2pm - 12am.... how do you even sleep without alcohol or sleeping pills with that type of turbulent schedule?
