Oak Creek is offering Voluntary Fixed Term Layoffs at Oak Creek. No shortage of takers when unemployment pays more than 40 hours at the 2 tier wages they are being paid. Salaried with more than 80 points, age and years of service were offered voluntary separation packages to leave. Layoffs are coming once the extra unemployment pay of $600 expires. Plant mngt has already approached the Union about that.
