I really wished there was some balance at Jacobs instead of two extremes.
When there is a lot of work, we are forced to work minimum fifty hour weeks (although they are more often sixty hour weeks) for no extra pay.
However, when work is light, layoffs become mandatory and we lose every ounce of job security.
I’m not sure what the company can do about this - but something definitely needs to be done.
