Major Q1 miss equals major layoffs - 2,000 people to be precise. Of course it's always employees who pay for the mistakes of management.
I really hope these layoffs happen sooner rather than later. The following weeks and months are going to be really bad - waiting to learn who will be hit is going to be excruciating.

CEO announces cut 2,000 on 25 Apr. Today is 8 May. Still no news on who will be affected. Maybe this is considered as "aggressive actions"? No wonder market thinks 3M is moving too slow.
