Big meeting next week. Anyone know what’s going on?

I’ll be p-ss-d either way now. Walk in there and it be absolutely nothing relevant to us losing our jobs, yet they gave us all weekend to speculate and worry. The tablet transition, the pay raises, the still currently hiring frontline and DSLs, all sounds like we are still going to be having jobs. They would have had warning of plans to sell or warehouse. Just my opinion.
Man we aren’t gonna make it to the tablet transition 😩 bummer
District Manager said start applying for new jobs now to get a head start on a new career. Jus sayin
thought we were getting new tablets
What if I can't make this meeting? Scared.
This wouldn’t be in the news until Tuesday. Once this gets announced (whatever it is) it will be all over the news.
They are paying for travel expenses and hotel rooms...hmmmmm
What is shop rite??
When Kraft sold to Nestle it was all over the news....there is nothing now which if DSD was sold you would think it would be news worthy like before..
I am in Sacramento and rumors are flying... Fast...
I heard we are selling the pizza line, then we are selling the ice cream line, Shop-Rite is going warehouse like tomorrow, then Unions are after us, P&L changes, executive shifts, you name it...
All what I know is that there will be many people who will have difficult time sleeping this weekend.
Just rip off the band-aid... And spill it...
I’m hearing DSD was sold
You can see other threads for Nestle here: &nestle

So true @7cpx
Maybe one that cares about their employees for once ;)
Logically thinking, my area just got raises a week or so ago, would they really go thru that effort right before laying everyone off? But once again, way to go Nestle for giving us c-appy vague news right before the weekend. Hoping there’s someone a bit higher up with some news they feel like sharing before Tuesday. Maybe one that cares about their employees for once ;)
What does Mr Sarsam have to do with this?
I see he's an accomplished executive but what about the relevance?

Two words, Tony Sarsam
This is definitiely national - I am in Tri-State area and we are flagged, I've heard West Coast (Sacramento) and other areas. I think it's about selling DSD but we'll see...

I’m from NY and have heard anything from going warehouse to just ShopRite going warehouse. Except this is national so it can’t be good. Kellogg’s did the same thing with their folks when they announced that they were going warehouse. I just hope they give us a few months before they let us go.
Meetings on the West Coast as well.
Meeting in Michigan on tuesday
yes We have a meeting here in California. Information will definitely leak by Tuesday I’m sure. Everybody’s calling each other
The knight king has come.
Trying to found out if meetings are going to happen just in tri-state area or elsewhere? Got the feeling Shop-Rite going warehouse
Something this big won't stay secret til Tuesday. It's gonna get out.
Everyone is supposed to get details of the meeting tonight or tomorrow I guess. Dunno if it's gonna mention anything on what it's exactly about though. SMH. Keeping us in the dark through the weekend, classy.
Cali
Just got text. Ridiculous that they are making us wait till next week to find out.
So do you have a meeting in California?
Hopefully we get more information tomorrow
Interesting
we Have no details here in California
What part of the country is every one in?
My husband just got news today too...very scary.
I've heard everything from going warehouse to selling the ice cream line. None if this makes sense considering the investment they've put in DSD the last year. Doesn't seem good one way or the other.
Husband has meeting tuesday just found out...nervous
I’ve personally heard the rumor that we were selling the pizza line, but who knows?
One of the plants that I know of had a big meeting with their production team and warehouse staff last week about the union making a big push at Nestle again. Not sure if that's it, just worth noting.
Seems hard to believe something this big could be kept a secret
In regards to selling DSD, I'm not sure they are ready or have the buyers for the brands they'd have to sell off, plus the HD distribution license. They are the only company equipped to do it at this scale; the brands have too much value. Warehouse model is very much in play
