Not sure about anybody's area, but around here if you built your route up they would lower your commission rate. So people stop trying to build up the routes so they wouldn't be working harder for less.

Maybe the DSLs should’ve actually spent time in the field instead of working from home all of the time.

What division are we talking?

I agree. This division was plagued with lazy incompetent workers.

To all DSL's that ever told me I have "high standards" or I "expect to much". Those DSL's that protected employees that left loads untouched, didnt build/maintain displays properly or let people just leave work for other agendas. To those DSL's that only cared about RP/FHF because that's what directly effected them and not give two about what happened out in the field. I hope it was worth it. I hope it was worth yours and everyone's job. Our product sells, and sells well! The frontline that cares knows this. When you have a company that doesnt know how to operate a DSD machine, DSL's that are lazy and have no to fire or even write up people that dont work or do the job correctly. Of course we will look unprofitable then. Nestle doesnt need to sell the frozen division, they need to clean house and put the right people in the right spot...unfortunately for us...its seems to be late for that.

In my area (NY/NJ) all of the Schwans reps and drivers were let go over a year ago. The Red Baron and freschetta is delivered through a distributor to all of the large format chains and one chain gets their pizza through warehouse.

When you say Ice Cream and pizza have been flat is Nestle saying we didnt make 8 billion only 7...didnt big corporations get HUGE tax savings...hasnt Nestle ever since they took over cut sales force in half and routes are 4x what they have been...

I can honestly say it's the pizza guys faults. Tell this day they don't understand the ice cream side of the business. They will order lots of cheese pizza with 100 degree weather. One guy got smart and took the pay out on the last company change. He was the worst worker I have ever worked with he didn't speak English and was treared special. Thanks alot kraft

All I know is when Kraft merged with Nestle the Kraft guys had a hard time and said it was easier in Kraft. The worst workers in so cal I have ever worked with hands down were all from Kraft. One guy would invoice stores then dump the pallets in the dumpster and say he delivered them. These are the ppl that bankrupt nestle

I know that no one in production or warehousing on the ice cream side has been invited to this meeting, or for that matter even know anything about a meeting at all. If ice cream was sold I'm not sure why they wouldn't be a part of this meeting as well since they'd be affected just as much as sales reps.

So i just got home at midnight from merchandising for a bread company .🤣🤣🤣. Yes a store i deliver too , thats funny that Nestle wont pay me to merch my own account on weekends , so i make my car payments by merch’ing for bread companys ( technically its my kid that does it 🤣)

They have to offer some type of severance for those who don’t want to work for another company or who no longer have a job for this company. I’ve never heard of this potential situation coming true and no one being compensated. I wouldn’t assume it’s much and can’t even speculate what it might be. The real question is how long do you have to work to get it? A month, three months, six months?

I worked for Edys, got bought by Nestle, left after 11 years of service. They maneuver like sneaky f---s. It’s horrible. What would you expect from a company who’s owner feels water isn’t a human right?

Just recieved news from a family friend who was previously worked for HR in my area for Nestle and is still in contact with some higher ups that our speculations have been correct. Pizza and ice cream division is being bought out. Unsure who is the buyer and or whether a servance package/non-negotiable contract will be in place but this is the news i just received. Take care all.

Lol once again someone trying to tell us Schwan's drivers and merchandisers have all the nestle insight. If 5000 people can't find a peep on the internet or within the company about what is going to happen Tuesday what makes you think that Schwan's is going to have the answers. Think before you come on here and fear monger your bs that you made up for sh--s and giggles.

We were told not to work Tuesday. Not the clock in, and it will be paid like holiday pay. So you’re working off the clock. Don’t get hurt.

Schwanns could never handle that volume of product with the infrastructure they have currently .

Anyway ... we were never told not to work on Tuesday , they just said be at the meeting . As a diehard rep , i still have a WM and customer base to serve on Tuesday morning that cant be slotted on Monday or Wednesday.

I just ordered it for Mondays load and will deliver Tuesday before meeting kicks off.

The one lurking with the real answers needs to speak up. Oh and anyone that’ll be in ATL for the meeting..... let’s have a drink after. Maybe we can swindle a p-ss-d off DSL into Amex ing it 😂

Nestle' could f--- up a County Fair.

Best thing I ever did was leave after Nestle' bought the pizza business from Kraft. You knew you never had job security. Nestle' never had a true DSD business model prior to buying the Kraft Pizza Company and every step they made proved that. It has been duct taped together for 9 years and it is just a matter of time before they pull the plug, common people employees be damned. I have heard from 2 areas of the Country, both saying similar stories...

Ice cream is gone pizza going warehouse or in one instance a Schwan's driver said he was told he will be delivering Nestle' pizzas to the stores because Cold Front also baled on Nestle'. Best of luck to everyone, can't change or control whatever is planned. Only thing you can control is your reaction and actions moving forward.
