I'll just go get a job doing frozen at Walmart, and I'll leave the Drumsticks empty like they have the last 5 years.

I don't believe stores would know something before nestle employees. Just kinda throwing it out there on the last company change we had to let stores know about the changes. I know I heard from a General that a local distributor was gonna take over and they where right from the last big change.

if a store manager approached i would have asked to see or get a hard copy of e mail but that store now has the power to not get pizza or ice cream and if they dont they will not get kickbacks from nestle corporate pay to play system why do u think the forceouts at walmart happen to hit a number to get paid on both sides

Why would a manager ask if it’s true if he just got a corporate email telling him so??

I don't understand those that are posting they heard info from a source, but refuse to give store names. This post is anonymous so saying a manager at Walmart, Publix, etc should not be an issue.

Just got approached by a store manager and boy was he upset. He asked if it's true where going warehouse cause he doesn't have the man power to stock our stuff. I asked where he heard that he said from a corporate email. I won't say which chain it is but it's a very popular chain of stores. Worst part he was shocked he knew more about it then I did.

This is what they are doing. Acosta will take over all merchandising and sales like all other manufacturers who have gotten rid of their salea force.

Second scenario they are selling pizza probably to Kraft.

People please....can we just stop the madness and finger pointing for a minute!!! Jesus, Edy’s people, Kraft people, DA’s, AB routes, PSR’s, you s---, he s---s, package, no package. JUST STOP! None of us no anything, just be supportive of one another and show some respect and compassion! We all are angry, mad, hurt, disappointed, but we still don’t know what about yet. The only fact I know, I gave my best, I know I am going to work tomorrow and I was 8 years from retiring. We all work for the same company, so stop verbally beating the hell out of each other. Nobody is better than one another, does a better job, (except for me) Lol. This is out of our control and that’s what s---s! The only one that is winning is Nestle and their share holders. Let’s just see what the outcome is on Tuesday and then make your comments. I know it’s hard, it’s great to vent, but can we just be respectful. Thanks and good luck to all of us! Holla from the ATL! 🍦and 🍕

Lol to the id--t who said we either abandon our jobs or train our replacements. If another company buys us we become their problem and they have the responsibility of our severance. I guarantee they dont have the man power just waiting in the wings to replace 5000 people. Cost more to train new people than retain the ones who know what they're doing

Hopefully no one decides to start snapping pizzas lol...if they are ramping down30 or 60 days until severance and job elimination, they are going to watch us all like hawks, also just wait until all our accounts get wind of this. They will take it out on us with maybe a few being sympathetic, certainly not the gestapo at WalMart.

Hey all - I sure have appreciated reading all this for the past 2 days. I've gotten some much-needed laughs. Tuesday will likely change our lives by a great deal, but what won't change for me is how much I enjoy working with you all. I've learned much from you and my life I'd better for my time spent with you. Corporate and the investors may not see the value we create day in and day out, but it's apparent to those of us who live this crazy business. We've come so far and I think our future would have been bright. As it stands though, we likely won't get to stay together to see it through. You all are pros, and I hope each of you lands well and does better for yourselves and your families. Good luck, friends.

I’m so looking forward to the p-ss-d off customers who won’t get serviced Tuesday. What a joke. And will make for a sh-tty busy Monday and an even worse Wednesday. Thanks Nestle. We are screwed.

Wow that makes a lot of sense... let everyone go and then get replacements??

Important!!! Inside source has just informed me we will have two options.

  1. Voluntary job abandonment

  2. 60 day no severance must help train job replacement.

Every company you go to there are good employees and bad employees. Nestle is no different. Where we struggle in our area is just constantly being understaffed. We can’t keep Relief to save our lives and haven’t had both positions filled at the same time in probably over 4 years which leads to never having the correct amount of coverage for vacations, absences, etc.

All the b--ching and blaming is embarrassing. If the higher ups are reading this stuff it just confirms they're making the right decision. What a bunch of babies.

What it sounds like is everywhere is the same. Some good employees and some bad. Can’t say it’s the youngins or the old kraft boys cause some of both categories s--- where I’m at. Lol. But ya know, despite all the b--ching, the paycheck is nice and I wouldn’t start out anywhere else making what I am now. So.....still hoping we all have jobs, under Nestle or not.

Is anyone going to talk about the employee who writes small loads for themselves and big loads for every one else. And is always getting extra help cause the job is too much for them. Also when there route is covered the help is taken away and that perosn covering has to pick up extra stores. To me it's everyone for themselves right now.

Not all drivers leave 25 cases on a pallet. And I have never sold product off the back of the truck .

Yes that’s it! It’s the drivers’ fault! Blame somebody, right?

Damn, a lot of you showing me how good my area is. Like wow some of you are really bad workers and we got lucky. Maybe it’s just people in my state are happier and willing to clock in, be safe while working and help out making a PSRs day a LITTLE easier and finish up and clock out. All the WH stuff and day to day hiccups are something to not take home with you. Good luck to all of you and I hope we all land on our feet after whatever happens on Tuesday.

Can't believe all the times I reached out to my dsl about missing product on my loads. There is always a excuse as it was damaged on the truck or is didn't come on the load. But it shows in the handheld it was shipped out. It's always the same driver who brags about having rocky road at home for his kids birthday.

All I know is they're cheating me out of work on Tuesday, so much stuff going on.

Anywho, guess I'll clock in at 7 drive 2 hrs for the meeting (claiming milage as well) sit through this 2 hr meeting , the b---s--- another hr with guys I haven't seen in a while from other depots...discuss future plans and if anyone has any job leads, the drive back home for 2 hours and boom , my 8 hr shift In the books!

DAs spend more time talking to other drivers than actual work. Can’t forget the fact that they treat the trucks like cheap toys and run into things regularly.

The hardest part of their day is figuring out where they’re gonna take a lunch break.

Like buying new trucks but reusing old boxes that leak so every time it rains our floors are covered in ice. But they can say we have a new fleet of trucks.

Here's is another scenario look in your hand out of all the new categories that were put in there open them up and see what products they are and who owns them either we bought them they bought us why would they put new items in our handheld
