The company seems to not feel the need to invest in quality test properties anymore as its prepares more budget and manpower cuts in the ppo division.

Remember also, how then and since then, GM was never first to market with anything significant*?
Really not sure what the plan is at this point. It sure doesn't look like "world class vehicles" is a goal.
*4GLTE being one exception, but that was after the "most innovative" days were over and when Whitacre saw $$ through selling services.
PS , Marry Should be shown the door immediately for building sedans that " No one wants" sweeping the ignition switch issue under the rug , how she's still CEO is absurd and NO not because she's a woman but because she's a terrible CEO , I was actually very hopeful when she came in but now NO , she said it , GM is going to be a tech company ! I'm all for progression and forward thinking along with technology but to cut this deep ? It's to deep and needless , why not train and retain the people that they had invested in all these years like the employees invested in the company? It's bizzare. Fine they make offers to older people for years of service I get that but many feel age discrimination is happening , people fear they can't prove it , I saw people of all ages let go myself , it's disgusting.
According to my contacts left on the inside , it's a total absolute mess. Three people have told me that today. People are doing more with less and there is an absolute possibility more layoffs are coming , it's not going to be a Rosey summer. Every group is completely confused of the direction of the company , all of this because Marry wanted to be ahead of a possible down turn ? BS . One or two things will happen A) GM is going to fail completely or B) it will be small as intended and just float along until it's absorbed by someone I guess.
