Outsource agency posting Inventory Manager Jobs in Bentonville

I just saw Genpact hiring inventory control managers, assistant managers, and analysts in Bentonville.

Given the huge number of people on the payments team that just had their job moved to Genpact, I thought I might alert people.

Below is the job description posted online. What group does it sound like that they are trying to outsource? Note the part in the description about mapping processes and eliminating uniqueness...


In this role, you will be responsible for managing and implementing key projects, processes, and initiatives within the inventory team. In addition, you will work with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure project completion according to timeline, budget, and specifications.

Responsibilities •

Responsible for managing, planning, tracking, and implementing small projects or aspects of larger projects from initiation to completion. • Collaborate closely with Subject Matter Experts to complete projects with significant business value. • Work with business Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to map current cross-functional processes, identify and eliminate unnecessary uniqueness. These processes include both system and people process flows

• SME (Subject Matter Expert) in key areas of acquired knowledge and advise technical and business partners when required. • Influence the adoption of standard processes across the organization to support consistent, aligned and accurate reporting and measurement.

• Implement data analytics and visualization solutions using PowerBI and Alteryx Qualifications Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, logistics, finance, or related field required • 3 years of experience delivering projects either in a Business Analyst or Project Manager

• Experience working in one or more retail store operations support functions such as: inventory control, warehousing, logistics, materials management, production, etc.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, gain a thorough understanding of the project assigned, map processes and ensure that the project is completed on time and per specification, in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills and ability to hold others accountable. • Experience with data analytics software

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Preferred qualifications • 1 year of experience in accounting or related field

• 1 year experience using SAP or other enterprise financial reporting system • Strong Analytical/Reporting skills • Lean and/or Six Sigma Certified

You’re missing that Walmart is potentially planning on getting more jobs off their books.

It says supply chain, inventory control, and warehousing experience.

Maybe they are taking over some logistics jobs? That’s all I can think of.

How is the pay and experience for the associates who got taken over by Genpact?
