What announcement? Do you mean that Chicago Tribune article that was also in the WSJ back in March (and the employee town hall meetings that the more tenured employers were inevitably invited to) or was there a later, more definitive announcement?

The announcement said they can survive until July 1, which means after VDay, assuming no one buys them.
